My first car was 2013 Hyundai Veloster non turbo with 132hp which cost me $10k. At that moment of life I had $110k in cash but didn't want to spend too much on a first car. Best decision ever. The rest $100k was invested.

Selling leads (instant cash) is far more lucrative than selling insurance (instant 11 months of debt).

Cody I am newer to this business and the only thing I struggle with is money and really hope I qualify for these. I think this is a fantastic idea. I already spent money on leads made a few sales but had to go back to work full time. I lost momentum because of money. I would be willing to make imstallment payments to get ahead and do this. Ew. Just ew. Insurance is one of the most corrupt and disgusting industry this country has allowed to balloon out of control. Let me ask you something, what other business can someone go spend money at for services, sometimes prepay them, and when the time comes to deliver those services that company says no, fights them with attorneys, or says on page 184 of clause blah blah blah it says we don’t cover that. I’ll tell you what industry does that, it’s insurance. Here’s another one to think about. What other industry can people pay money too for multiple years, sometimes lifetimes, and never use it yet never receive any money back? Insurance wins again. A person can go years paying an insurance company, sometimes legally obligated to do so, yet never need to use it but they never receive a dime back. That’s literally paying for services without receiving anything in return except a hope the insurance company will help if the person needs them. This country mandates insurance in some cases, yet when people need it, the insurance company is allowed to deny things, lie, and make the person take them to court to have a judge step in and tell the insurance company they are greedy slime balls. Insurance is a disgusting industry and I would rather blow my brains out before I work as an insurance salesman. You guys are worse than used car salesmen. And get a better taste for cars. Car guy you say? Then you go buy a trash challenger. Nice sales pitch though. Unfortunately for you I don’t allow smoke to get blown up my ass.

Had to make a decision. Paid off my daughter’s balance so she could graduate from nursing school. Downside didn’t have 10k laying around sold everything. She graduated but now I am not able to get leads. This would help

That's me, buy now later. Don't have credit built, nor ppl to invest in me. All I do is word of mouth.

None of this is true without the tools or people to sell to. I’m in a small town when I was selling ins. I’d have to drive an hour to a big town to do drops. Meanwhile a guy in Jacksonville can put in 40 hours a week and have next to no commute and make the same as me in 60+ hours. 😂 it’s all about timing, location, and the tools you have to help you sell. Just showing up doesn’t do shit that’s just a pre requisite

I had my money drained when I got my knee surgery. The money I was going to use to get into insurance, i had to use to pay some my bills and I only had enough to cover for crms. I tried for a week to find a loan and credit cards and everyone denied me. I have so much time on me at the moment since I can’t walk, I’ve spent so much time learning the business and script from my imo. I’ve applied to remote part times but I’m totally against that. I’m all about going all in, no distractions, and making it work. Something that I’ve been thinking about for a while, if I can ever get an awesome career in this, later down the line I’ll devote myself to helping new agents come in and succeed. I’m someone who’s in a “back against the wall” situation, who wants to succeed, and make it out of debt, having no money, if I make it out, I’ll be the first to help the next person who’s in a similar situation as me. If you want to stop and think about it this is what you need to be a successful insurance agent. Your insurance education and your insurance license. Cost: $500 to $1,000 A moderately high To high office efficiency setup. Cost: $1,500 to $2,500 CRM. Cost: $300 to $500 Leads. Cost: $1,000 to $2,000 - If you can think of anything else that I may have missed, to keep going the right way you need to have at least $3,200 to $5,000 in cash to hit the ground running.

Insurance agents and phone salesman’s are the same people.

This was super uncomfortable to even watch I feel like dude literally had no clue what he was talking about at all. I felt kinda bad for him he was clearly trying to BS his way through it instead of just being honest and saying he had no clue what he was taking about. I don’t think he answered one single question that was asked of him. Was super confused just watching lol

It sounds like there is little to no room for actual discovery. Getting into the insurance business is like trying a church out on a Sunday morning, not liking the atmosphere or culture, and never coming back. People generally want to give others the benefit of a doubt. The best watch to do that is to get involved. Just a thought.
